Born April 4, 1956 in Philadelphia at Albert Einstein hospital
1971 attended Alternative East high school and got inspired
1972 – ongoing – started sculpting
1975 – studied sculpture at the Philadelphia College of Art for 4 years taught adult art sculpture classes for 2 years at Main Line Art School attended Temple University from 1979 – 1981 and received a BS in Elementary Ed.
1981- 85 taught kids art at Old Pine Community Center in Philly
1981– started a concert production company with a video documentation component, produced over 100 concerts in Philly
1985 – moved to Tucson, taught Art in elementary public schools for 10 years
1987 – ongoing – rented warehouse at 31 E. Toole ave.
1988 – ongoing – started first art show/concerts events
1991- 95– rented another warehouse at 530 North Stone ave., produced over 800 concerts
1994 – rented another building at 546 North Stone ave. started café/venue
1999 – 2006 – promoted over 50 concerts at the Rialto Theater
2001 – for 18 months joined forces with Hotel Congress to bring live music back to the Hotel after they had 2 years of no live music promoted over 100 concerts at the Hotel, healed many of Hotel Congress relationships with music industry
2009 – 31 E. Toole sold to Steve Fenton of Fenton Investments, a new partnership is formed
2010 – ongoing – expand the Solar Culture vision to create and sustain the arts community on Toole ave. started renting more buildings from Fenton Investments we have been renting 5 buildings with over 37,000 sq. ft. with 50 individual studio spaces that have 100% occupancy and 2 events/gallery spaces
2011 – started going to Burning Man
2012 – ongoing – created first sculpture for the global community of Burning Man
